Hyaluronic acid in 5 active forms: hyaluronic acid is a physiological component of skin having a great affinity with water and working like a sponge to absorb and store it. According to its molecular weight, hyaluronic acid performs a number of functions in skin:
• High molecular weight: remains on the surface and coats skin forming a light, thin layer, thereby increasing hydration by acting as an important water reserve.
• Medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid: offers deeper, long-lasting hydration.
• Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid: penetrates into the deeper layers of the epidermis, improving skin elasticity.
• Very low molecular weight hyaluronic acid: characterised by a high bioavailability, it penetrates very quickly into the deeper layers of the epidermis, preserving skin hydration.
• Hyaluronic acid in microspheres: released slowly, it increases hydration especially by capturing transepidermal water that would normally be lost through perspiration.

Anti-free radicals vegetal complex: works as an anti-stress agent and, at the same time, strengthens skin:
• Gynostemma pentaphyllum extract: typically growing in the Far East and also referred to as the “plant of immortality”, it targets intercellular cement with its energising and strengthening properties, thereby supporting the barrier function of skin.
• Rock Rose (cistus incanus) extract: found throughout the Meditteranean area, it is rich in polyphenols, thus has antioxidant properties to counter free radicals triggered by external environmental agents (UV radiation, pollution).
• Glutamine: it is the major amino acid in our body and is a source of energy for our cells.

Moisturising complex (glycerin + sorbitol + sodium lactate + sodium PCA): its components allow to replenish the natural moisturising factor (NMF), enhancing the natural water-holding capacity of skin.

Restructuring Complex (Ceramide + Trehalose + Cholesterol): patented blend of wetting agents and restructuring ingredients that work in synergy to moisturise skin and protect the skin barrier.

Zanthoxylum bungeanum extract: having a soothing effect, it provides relief from any burning, itching, irritation of the skin.

Jojoba oil + Karitè (Shea) butter: perform a skin softening and re-hydrating action.
